So thought i'd share some photos of the re-sprayed landy (90CSW VCool.

Having spent months trying to find someone who i thought would do a decent job I turn up at the body shop to be told they cant now touch it for 6 months ... what a door handle. Anyway went to AN Other who i couldn't previously afford - came to an agreement on price and what a blessing. They've done a top job.

only too happy to share daily photos, encourage you to visit and show you around during work in progress - nothing to hide, and why should you.

They are right fiddly fussy things to spray. I know some places don't like them. Flaps, rivets, tub cappings etc. Had a 109 done and they got bored after a few weeks prepping it. 1951 80" S1 2.0

So the photos in the body shop were taken a little while ago, since then i've been beavering away putting it all back together. Some of its been a right Censored but i've learned loads. it's taken a few months and well you cant help just doing a few more improvements whilst your at it.

i do think landys look great in a dark colour but really really pleased i stuck with the original colour.

The finished truck won't be to everyone's liking but i'm happy with it. Now time to find some lanes.

Hello Puffin

Oh that looks just great to my eye...well done Thumbs Up

Colour coded front end also IMO just looks right, overall the whole Defender
looks nicely 'sorted'.

Looks like you too have used the Pacer Wheel Arch Extensions,
which I have no regrets in fitting after 3 years, less mud down the sides
and protects the main wheel arch, when hedgerows get too close.

Good spot - i've had them on for a similar period and don't regret it at all. Mine have taken a bashing but have scrubbed up ok. On the front i have the gwyn lewis extenders as well which helps and on the rear some dirt defenders.

cheers

Arran

thanks arran,

Its a custom stainless exhaust i had done last summer. I had it straight through for a couple of years and although it was fine around town as soon as you opened the taps i found i could only do about 25 miles before i was demented.

took it to a local exhaust specialist and between us we came up with the twin pipe. large exits look good but its not the same size where the sun don't shine. the mud flap / exhaust brackets can be removed for greater clearance on the lanes.
