Fitted Wipac crytals and LEDs. Went "oh sh!t" when the trailer light stayed on.
A quick search on here and found that if you twiddled the LED relay thingy it would alter the resistance and the light would go out. 2mins out in the 110 and problem sorted. What an excellent forum this is |

up at 4.30 and drove the 110 down to the great british landrover show.(260 miles) yes i am mad.
first time at this one and probably last as show didn't justify traveling time. but had to go to find this out. bought a new led light bar to make trip worthwhile. defender drove great but only 22mpg on way down but i was early great show if you were looking for non "e" marked cheap led headlights. enjoyed the drive. back home and a pub tea + 3/4 pints. 110 xs s/wagon s3 swb soft top |

I went to Convoy for Heroes on Friday night and Saturday
Click image to enlarge Then onto the Show at Stoneleigh today. Not a huge show but a fair few stands there. It was fairly claustrophobic in the hall and I think I lasted an hour before I was outside ready to go home. I did pick up some cavity spray from Buzzweld and a pair of standard later indicator lenses for my Td5 as mine are fast losing their colouring. Would I go again? Only if the tickets were as cheap as this year(pre-booked) and I was in the area, I wouldn't make a special journey for it, I hope that it's not the shape of things to come with this years shows, major bling, lot's of shiny objects and tool sellers every other stand. There were a few of the "interesting" stands, the one selling the Slickshift, Bowyer was there with his winch stand, M M from Martin Hussingtree was a welcome sight to see back on the show circuit and along with the main sponsor Bearmach At least I got chance to try out my new camping set up which seemed to work, few more tweeks before the next trip (y) Click image to enlarge |

90 performed well. Great trip to visit family and friends. Just need for my hearing to return to normal. [/list] |

Replaced the grease nipple in the UJ closest to the transfer case, thought the nipple had fallen out, turns out the nipple had sheared off flush with the UJ!
Changed diff oils and transfer case oil Took a winch wire in to get the bad section removed. Put in a cheeky bid on a TD5 90 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |
