Ran out of time but will tax the ice defender tomorrow and then the first trip since Morges motor show Switzerland last October (as long as no rain is forecast)

Click image to enlarge Being a saddo and because I've only had her a month, decided 'twas time for a wash. First vehicle I've ever owned that awoke my fear of heights whilst washing it🙄 |

Today I have mostly been trying to get the door to line up with the side panel, the panel wasn't lined up with the roof properly which left the door top pushed hard into the seal when the lock was correctly aligned, I had to slacken the roof bolts down that side and pull the panel in with a ratchet strap, some wood blocks and a hammer - I didn't think to take a picture before but it's a lot better now than it was.
Click image to enlarge I wanted to get it close as poss because tomorrow it's going in to get the roof painted, it started off with a couple of little bubbles in the paint until I took the jet washer to it Click image to enlarge I'm getting it painted black in the same style as the later X Tech Defenders, then I'll get my newly re-furbed black 17" Predators on to match the theme. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Then on Saturday I'll be collecting my new black Lab to keep the theme going Click image to enlarge I'll get some more pictures up of the finished job(s) once it's all done |

Washed it for the first time in a month or two and hopefully fixed a new leak. Ray

Parked up to go for a nice meal with the family,
A few people behind be were watching / looking at me as I reverse.. Thought nothing of it. I spotted a post in the mirror but NOT the fact the post had a MAP on it at an angle,,, We all jumped out and I had a look, was mighty close and could not see the sign in rear view or looking behind at all.... Very lucky Click image to enlarge |

Did nothing because it's still in the workshop having lashings of Dinitrol applied, following 9 years of neglect. Also had the HD rear springs swapped for standard and the calipers rebuilt with SS pistons, discs, pads, etc.
Looking forward to being reunited in time for the Big Outdoors weekend on Friday. |
