Thought I'd sneak in while the coast is clear to respond Cool

Steve - yes my 110 in vid. Decided to go with a standard / genuine LR replacement balljoint and fulcrum.....was ok to start with so perhaps someone simply didn't tighten it enough?

Get it back Friday so will know more then.

- enjoy the peace till then Thumbs Up

The trouble is if you recommended an adjustable ball joint that is the problem.
He'll never adjust it just right it will need on-going adjustment to keep it just right from "going clonk"

Would have been better off with standard and then put it to bed? Probably.

You know, to read that would suggest you have no faith in his abilities...... Steve.

No offence Wayne, and I'm all for someone having a go but maybe it's high time you left the tinkering to people who have an idea of what they are doing? Steve.

She's back
Cool

Not sure if there was some kind of anaesthetic air freshener in the car but amazingly when I pulled off the forecourt the def felt / seemed all quiet, smooth and fast.......and that's from having been driving around in one of those new discos Shocked

Mind it did feel like I was sat in a miniature light house?

Any how she's back so I can give her a wash and crawl underneath and starting shaking stuff and looking for the next problem Mr. Green

Shocked Nooo........

so far so good well improved at the very least. not only does the back end not bang over rumple strips and the likes but I had a strange sensation this morning when pulling up sharply to some traffic lights on my daily run..... the brakes and whole truck felt smooth and quiet - no tramlining, uneven feeling Thumbs Up

not sure what LR did while in but clearly they tightened the A frame fulcrum but not sure what else yet......but I'll ask.
