Problems to get over 100 KPH
Hi guys

Me again Sad

Since 5 days ago I have problems to get over 100KPH in highways. It is impossible to get over this speed with the throttle at maximum in 5th gear or 6th gear.

RPM doesnt get over 2100-2300 in 6th gear and the car suddenly lost power.

I check with my ODB and the vacuum/boost figures varies from -14 to 2 psi. When I throotle at maximum, start to increase very fast, but suddendly drop, leaving the car without force to continue accelerate.

MAF moves from 800 cfm when start to throttle and reach near 500 cfm when the throotle is steady at 100 KPH.

Any idea, any other parameter to check?
Anyway will be in the Indy to check it.

Thanks! Eduardo

Check the simple things first, the air intake path just in case something has got in there.
Then intercooler hoses for leaks but this would produce black smoke.
Then check electric plugs and turbo actuator for sticking but i thing that this would produce a DTC.
Please report on your findings.
Cheers.
