The word 'celebrity' must refer to someone who is 'celebrated', so why have I never heard of most of them?

Jesus the list goes on
UN ambassador Victoria Beckham is going to save babies from AIDS. She’s now a doctor is she? Angelina Jolie – the world’s most beautiful woman (only to a sex-starved Albanian shepherd who’s allergic to wool) – is given a knighthood and will pick it up from the queen later this month. For what exactly? Making a couple of speeches saying “rape is bad”? Thanks for that, I never knew! Thousands of women paying – paying, for sake – to have their bums increased in size to look like some reality TV bint. And Who gets to designate the title ‘supermodel’ to these sour faced, pointless women on the front of the magazines When you look at what these oxygen thieves do for a living, you have to wonder what society has come to. Walking up and down while wearing clothes……that's it. What everyone else does before they leave the house in the morning to go to work. Most of them are sour faced, tantruming overpaid skinny tarts with no tits And did I really want to know about that IRA guy who is now a celebrity it seems, Jerry Adams Trampolining naked with his dog? I must be lucky to not come across drivel like that, as a single parent of two teenage boys there is nothing like that in the house, Land Rover comics and the odd shooting magazine and that's it. Even the doctors surgery had an LRO magazine on top of the pile when I last went in there a couple of years ago

No, it was actually at the top, and seemed to be the most thumbed through magazine in the waiting room!

When sellers on certain auction sites list an item as "defender 90, Not 110 or 130".
Why do they think someone looking for a 130 would think "ahh yeah a 90 thats exactly what I'm looking for..." Just list it as a 90 ffs Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |
