If it helps uncas ... there is a company called Adventure Overland UK [ www.adventureoverlanduk.com ] based in Cheshire who specialise in the German Bimobil range of demountables - these include Land Rover.

Lovely couple who run the company, always willing to give sound advice.

Cheers Tom I've looked at a few Bimobils at some shows.
I've put a deposit down on a motorhome just got to sell the 90 which I really don't want to do but needs must so I will be defender less for a while.

No problem. As I'm sure you are aware, there are several companies on the Continent that specialise in demountables, but very few over here. I do know of a couple more in the UK, but feedback tells me that they don't return messages and suchlike, therefore I will only pass on information about trustworthy, reliable companies. Best this way.

Good luck with your new acquisition ... not to mention selling the 90. Thumbs Up

That a shame. Still, you could always buy my Range Rover that is due to appear on ebay soon, would make a good project!

Nah, to be honest it's just a shell inside, no furniture or anything, but it will make a nice camper for somebody one day.

Why do we always have 'projects'?
