2 pipes are diesel (in and out) and the other 2 pipes are coolant from the engine. Of course, the 2.2 that doesn't have the cooler don't have the water pipes. Craig Rogers

Thanks for the advice X-Isle.

Hopefully will get an idea of problem from dealers tomorrow but based on where fuel was leaking suspect you're likely to be right.

Dealer mechanic found one of the fuel lines detatched as X Isle suggested. He also suggested that as the 2.2 has a low pressure fuel pump this would potentially allow vehicle to run normally therefor not giving a warning! He did say there was no reason he could see why the hose had detached.....

Awesome! Thumbs Up

Glad it was as I thought. I bet it just was never put on properly and finally decided to pop off.

Did you find out if you have a cooler or just the pipes? Craig Rogers

I don't quite understand the Entreq plate.

It's supposed to protect both the oil filter and fuel cooler.

However, in that 2nd photo you can clearly see oil filter housing? So it looks like things can still be thrown up from the front wheels and hit the oil filter.

I've got the D44 fuel cooler guard and I'm going to make my own oil filter guard. Craig Rogers
