Noisy Puma
So I took the Puma out for a drive today and after a couple of miles I got on to the motorway and was aware of a real din coming I think from the transmission. I say this because it's not engine Rev dependent or changes if you coast.

Steering, gear changes all seem normal, the vehicle is handling and feels as it should. any ideas, where should I start? It's a 57 plate Station Wagon with 75k on the clock.

Ideas and thoughts appreciated.

Prop shaft joints? Early ones had no grease points IIRC.

I changed the front for a Bailey Morris extreme a couple years as the original was proper trashed. That was only noisy under load but I'll check them both.

I've now checked the props, wheel bearings and had the wheels rebalanced. I'm wondering if the hand brake is playing up, possibly stuck on, anyone care to comment?

Is common for the handbrake to be poorly adjusted, which then causes noise especially once warm. Take for a drive then feel temp of brake drum.
