Anyone know what should be in here
Anyone know what this connector should have in it?

The headlights have been replaced with HID units and the link cable works the high beam. I assume the cable is in the right place as it fell out when removing the mobile phone kit.

Many thanks in advance for our help.

Probably a dim dip relay that's been bypassed

Thanks guys, seems to make sense. With the loop removed only the dip beam works, and once the loop is in place the high beam works off the switch. I expect this was done at the time the HID lights were installed and it overcome an issue with the relay.

Do the HIDs use less power, therefore, not having the relay will not do any damage to the wiring, or should the relay be put back in?

Will need to check the lamp housing to see if its standard or not then decide what to do next. |____000_

the lamp housing will be standard as they don't make a 7 inch hid headlight unit

choice is really back to standard bulbs
relay standard bulb for bit better output and better bulbs like nightbreakers etc
fit e marked led headlights
