I have just seen some Silverline branded rachet type, cast iron posts, 3t capacity each and lifetime guarantee locally for £20! They look hefty enough and have a 280-420mm range.

I would never buy anything branded Silverline - probably worse that Britpart in terms of quality

Also Google their lifetime guarantee - its worthless.
