I have just had my rear cross member re-sprayed under warranty due to rust - One of many parts of the car rusting away... Aside from the underneath which I had waxolyled from new!!!

How can I protect the paint now? Helpfully they did the cross member but left the towbar as is, so that looks really discoloured compared to the new cross member!! Will have to re-spray that with Satin Black.

Should I just leave the X-member or coat it in wax or something else?

Thanks!
James
