If you have a bulkhead and don't need the space you could always fit an amp there? Don't be surprised in the seatbox if it doesn't get filthy and maybe even rust a bit. found this out the hard way under my drivers seat.
I'd have also though they could of came up with a better solution than sticking the amp on the back of the cubby. Granted there is limited room but that is the lazy solution imho. Plus you won't be able to see it have hardly any access without pulling it all out or indeed even adjust it. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧 |

dgardel, sorry you have lost me???
custom90steve, mate i would but its a 130 double cab so you would see it and i hate wires everywhere. plus not putting it under the back seats as they are coming out so the Labradors have a massive flattish bed. you have now got me worried about putting in the battery cubby now! |

Seal up the battery box thoroughly, there is also room under the drivers seat, i usually fit an air compressor there. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Sorry, I mention this because my Head Unit has an external control unit which I used to mount in the seat box under the drivers seat until one day had a look at in many months later and found it rusting. Needless to say it's now mounted behind the drivers seat. Might help to seal the seat boxes though. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧 |

I think it's the corner seams that do it. Nothing a bit of silicone wouldn't sort. So long as condensation or damp doesn't become an issue instead. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
