Water Leak
My 130 has now been back to the dealer 4 times to sort out water leaks with all fixed except one Crying or Very sad

When it been raining (can't say after being washed as it's only been done once since March Rolling with laughter) there is a puddle under brake pedal.

Has anyone else had the same problem or any suggestions dealer seems to have given up Rolling Eyes 993 Varioram - Guards Red

It took two fixes to resolve this on my 110.

Sealing the windscreen (DIY job) and the dealer replacing the foam seal between the bulkhead and windscreen frame.

Lots of history on these probs (search should help)
In my case top of window rubber let water run around inside and down to behind dash
Also foam seal under frame leaked
Others have leaky door seals
Try duck tape and a hose pipe to find out which :thumbs up:

But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Mine leaked through the grommets where the windscreen wiper on LHD models are attached. Leaked into passenger footwell.

I have just found and printed out water ingress manual from Land Rover Thumbs Up

Perhaps I should do a copy for the dealer. 993 Varioram - Guards Red

I'm serious - Duck tape plus hose - process of elimination Smile Tell someone you love them today because life is short.

Question about the foam seals. Mine seem to be doing their job, so I must have one of those Defenders that were not produced on a monday morning or friday afternoon...

A couple of times per year I will use a silicon spray on the door seals and window/sunroof rubbers to keep them supple and in good shape.

What about all the foam seals, what to use to keep them in good shape and keep doing their job for a long time? Same silicon spray? Different products?

Tks, Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

I'll beat K9F to this - Sikaflex it's brilliant sealant and never goes off (use gloves otherwise it will never come off your hands), I know for sure they do it in black and white. it's a marine sealant, used by caravan owners too

alternative is to run tape (clear or whatever) along the seal under the windscreen.

LR dealer has just resealed and resprayed the roof ("forgot" the foam seal) so I don't want to loosen the roof/frame) to change it.
For now I've just got a bead of butyl tape along. Been fine for six months.
I'll probably use window sealant (also butyl) eventually as it stays a bit soft. Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
