North Patagonia trip & trekking Tromen Volcano
As I have often been very inspired by your trips in Europe, I took advantage of our Easter week and along with a few more days as a gift we went to the province of Neuquen, in northern Patagonia to try the camper works that I made in my truck. And everything turned out perfect, both the places, the behavior of the vehicle and the modifications I made to sleep and live in the Defender. There are some photos from crossing the desert through La Pampa to the Tromen Volcano, then passing through Salto del Agrio, and arriving at Villa Pehuenia and then returning again through La Pampa. A spectacular trip made with my youngest son, and a good test for future longer expeditions.

We've got an idea to do Patagonia North to South one day. The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html

Thank you all for your comments . Encouraged by the good experience, we are already organizing the next outing, this time it will be to El Chaltén and the Perito Moreno National Park, one of the least visited and most impressive parks. That will be after winter.

Looks like a great trip!
I lived over the hills in Chile for a year, mainly based down in Region 11, working on the glaciers down there.
Still planning to get back over there with the kids.

Looks stunning. Most of us are totally unaware of the beauty of South America. I'm hoping to get to Patagonia next year for an endurance bike ride. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.
