Like you Tim I am a researcher first and a owner second. Takes me awhile to make a decision. The SDV8 will take some beating as a tow vehicle.

l remember the days when 100bhp per litre was considered about as far as you could go.

/\ it still is for a naturally aspirated engine (isn't it?) Mr. Green

Ian just been testing out the new Zone with our P400 110, it tows very easily, the D300 has a bit more
Torque (100 more to be precise) than my Petrol, so would assume it will handle it as well or a tad better
in terms of grunt and of course fuel consumption.. maybe not as good as your V8, but still quite decent

think you spotted mine on the Zone RV interest group Wink Quite surprised on the fuel consumption return, about 18-19l /100 kms.. not bad for a petrol towing 2.9t

Mercedes have launched an uprated G class diesel, In the form of the G450d, with 385bhp and a monstrous 700lb ft.

Come on Land rover, I’ve had my D300 for 3 years and would like to see an upgrade... Very Happy

I bet Chris Royle will be offering this D350 upgrade sometime soon.
He already does D250 to D300 with the factory OEM "remap".
He's UK based, ex JLR and mobile. I have no affinity or reviews New 90 on order for delivery in May 2024. D300 X-Dynamic HSE in Eiger
