We're going way off topic now but cooled EGR systems are much more effective at reducing NOx gases than 'hot' EGR systems. When Euro III came in there was a much tighter NOx limits imposed hence the EGR cooler fitted on the > 2002 engines. I can't imagine there's thousands of Td5s driving around where the EGR hasn't been blanked off by now but in all honesty I think the 'performance benefits' have been over sold.

Back to leaky FPVs!!!
