I disabled all that malarkey on day 1 and rely solely on the fob buttons only 👌
Also use a Stop Lock on the steering wheel when visiting the city 🤣 MY25 90 D350 X-Dynamic HSE in Silicon Silver and coil sprung 1974 Series 3 Lightweight = "Millie" Many Range Rovers and Land Rovers over the years 😂 1949 80" - still in family since 1975 I use www.glenrands.co.uk Great independent specialist! |

Just come back earlier this evening. A superb vehicle and it didn’t get stolen
![]() 350 miles and 37mpg from the quite heavily loaded D250 Defender 90. That’s near enough Honda CR-V economy when similarly loaded and driven on the same roads including down the M6 in traffic and back up on the M6 Toll road and the whole of the M54 both ways plus town driving around Telford, Warwick and Shrewsbury. Cross country from Shrewsbury to the West Wales coast and down the road 30 miles [both ways]. I did disable keyless entry and locking but will re-enable it tomorrow. Will probably not enable walk away locking ever but may try walk-to unlocking as this will be less annoying and more useful I think. Here it is, unusually clean and parked outside a hotel at Telford. ![]() Click image to enlarge |
