110 NAS Step and Adjustable Tow Hitch

Please can you advise on this set up with the drop hitch fitting to the NAS step with these bolts, thanks in advance.

for why it may not be a good idea.

Towing is the reason I never entertained the NAS style rear step and stuck with the dixon bate adjustable setup with a towbar step on it. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green- Slowly Turning into Keswick Green - It's a keeper.
