United Kingdom 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Chawton White
Puma 2.2 ECU
Hi all,

I have a friend who has a Puma 2.2, original engine blown, he is replacing the engine with a used one already acquired, it apparently didn’t come with an ECU so he has sourced one from the UK. The vehicle is not in the UK but the purchased ECU still is. He has asked me whether this ECU will need coding to the replacement engine or not ? I own a 2.4 so I don’t know but I’m assuming this 2.2 ECU will require some sort of coding to work with the replacement engine.

Thanks for any info.
