I can't believe that the currently hot Octas, just delivered like new model, have become obsolete, even slightly, but obsolete, in such a short space of time given their absurd price... the logical thing would be that this small update would have coincided with their release on the market, I think….and what will happen to the ones currently available at the dealership, for over €200,000? There are quite a few around here!

I don’t really see how the new upgrades can possibly change the value of the Octa or any of the previous defender.

No? You know as well as I do that whenever there is an update, even a minor one, everything on the market immediately becomes “the old model” …and so everything suffers a loss of its value ..and the Octa will suffer like the others, but I only mention it because it is the last to arrive and by far the most expensive…besides, it doesn’t look like it will become an iconic cult car like a classic Defender can be…now there will simply be an old Octa worth more than €200,000 in the showroom and I think that will be a problem. Defender 110 SE I6 D250 23MY

The money value is relevant only of you resell it...

Bloody typical JLR after I’ve just picked up my new 25.5 defender X last week. Dealer never said a thing about any face lift on the way. Embarassed

The next level of surveillance, and great for it hides the gauges from some angles.
Did anyone ask for that one?

Wheels looking they're sitting wider in the arches on the non-OCTA model, almost as if it's on spacers.

They’re still on the dash, I think the car they used for the photos just didn’t have it fitted. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Im pretty sure they have been moved to the screen, as even on the Octa photos you see a blank space….

The blue for the Octa looks good.
Air suspension buttons have moved from center console to touchscreen.
Let’s hope the new headlights offer better illumination than the old matrix system which was very poor.
The adaptive all terrain progress control is an interesting one, not a fan of the old system, let’s see if it’s an improvement.

I feel that only the DRL part has been tweaked, without any improvements to the actual lighting system…

Just looking at the site, I guess the first photo with the V8 is Carpathian? This I already have, but I was looking on the configurator ref Woolstone green and that is in my eyes almost bronze ? Carpathian is double the add on paint cost and I was hoping to change colour but I’m not sure now .

I think the body is black, if you compare it to the lower part of the front grill which is clearly grey…

You can now spec an X Dynamic SE with a P425 V8 but no V8 on the XD HSE….strange, configurator error perhaps?
