Simple Door Check Fitment not so simple :)
Got a defender which has been partly restored its a 97 and for locks and windows has series 3 parts but it was missing the door check strap but a series 3 strap which I have purchased is nothing like what is needed, just wondered if anyone recognised what check strap this would require ?

The bracket you have on the bulkhead is for a rear door.

What seems like you need are the bulkhead brackets from a defender.

Series 3 doors had a slider in the door, part of the door frame. In Defenders, the slider is on the bulkhead, a bolt on, not part of the bulkhead.

Google search will surely give you part numbers. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
