hi, I don't own a nanacom , but am reasonably familiar with the outputs of the sensors you have mentioned...could I recommend you get something like the torque pro app installed and use a bluetooth adapter in the diagnostic socket to view the values of the sensors ..the three you have mentioned are all available for the 2.2tdci engine...in actual figures ie pressure, and grams/sec etc..
if you need the sensor outputs in terms of the voltages and frequency figures ie the raw data I can have a look at the stored scope traces I have saved..just let me know |

Hi!I have a nanocom I just need the values so I can compare them to what I’m reading.
I just need g/s or g/h and pressure figures for the maf and rail ![]() Thanks! |

What DTCs are you getting ?

But they are not static figures.. they vary as the engine speed and loads change..that's why an app that allows viewing them in real time will help you.. |

Im having p01010-17, new allisport intercooler, new hoses. Just getting the Mil on heavy load under acceleration on 5th or 6th gear.
Airbox open will not trigger any code, the moment I close the top I go back to the same situation. We changed the inlet to a 75mm hose straight to the top wing , same thing again. I ordered a 90mm just to make sure it’s not airflow related. I’m getting 17g/s at idle and 158 g/s at around 3000 rpm under load and 1,55 bar boost from the turbo. It’s remapped. |

I'd say those figures appear to be in the order of what I'd expect to see..
Is your boost maxed out at that level, ie about as much as you get..? |

Are you still on the standard air box and no mods to it like the impeller removed etc...,

Yes, that’s maximum boost. |

Yes, standard air box with the impeller removed, also removed the standard intake tube and fitted a 75mm one connected to the top wing. |

I'm running something very similar with a 75mm pipe from a raised air intake into the standard airbox, with the water separator vane removed..similar figure of 17g/s at tick over ..and a quick rough calculation would indicate you would expect at 3000 rpm and a 1.5 bar boost to be getting something in the order of 160g/s , so it does appear to be right..
Without the air box lid when you don't get a fault code is the maf figure any different??? Suggestions would be to make sure the maf sensor supply and ground are good.. I'm not sure what your code indicates specifically.....is it just a general range performance or does it indicate high or low.. Maybe check with your tuner that the figures you have are within range.. Other than that I did improve the exhaust side as well as the inlet side.. And if your egr is functioning you would want to ensure it wasn't sticking.. Other options if you can look at freeze frame data on a scan tool when your fault is set and you get a mil on.. |

I have the egr blanked both physically and electronically and also with no dpf.
It has to be some small leak somewhere I can’t find, maybe triggered by a slight restriction on the airbox and that’s why it’s not appearing when the lid is open. Maybe the elbow hose… I’ll post what was the issue when solved, thanks for the input! |

If the 90 degree Elbow into the inlet manifold was not one of the replaced hoses then yes it is known to fail and split on its underside.
Great how to on its replacement https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic81674.html As you have replaced the Intercooler and hoses I would double check the Hose clamps, cheap or loose clamps can leak under pressure and cause the DTC you are getting. If after checking the above and still getting the DTC then checking the inlet manifold seals, inlet manifold for cracks and throttle body and it’s seals would be my next investigation. |

I had a P01010 DTC when the air intake temperature sensor failed which is separate from the MAF on the 2.2

That will be the green one on the solid pipe section after the intercooler and before the inlet manifold, first time I’ve heard of that failing, thanks for highlighting.
