Boost alloys with terra firma spacers - conflict?
Internet seems undecided -

Do the flange nuts conflict with the alloy when using terrafirma 30mm spacers?

Some seem to say yes, others no.

For those who don't understand the question -

The alloy has recesses for the drive flange fasteners. Because the spacer rotates the wheel, relative to the flange, the recesses are no longer in the correct places.

However, there is 30mm greater overall clearance.

I suspect the make of drive flange and the bolts with which it's held on by are key in this, which is probably why the Internet is inconclusive.

I have terrafirma drive flanges and Allen cap bolts currently, so I'd be most interested to hear of anyone with the same configuration and their own results.

I do not want to start die grinding the alloy wheel...

Thank you.

The standard bolts that attach the drive flange, or drive shaft will stop the spacers sitting properly. Fitting Allen cap bolts as you have cures this problem.

The wheel has no issues fitting onto the spacer.

Hope I’ve understood your question fully.
