Same here, does the passenger side overlap to clear the middle part of the windscreen ? Clayton.

Are you sure the end of the rack isn’t obstructed? If it is, and there isn’t full travel along it then it’ll limit the sweep of the wiper arms.
It could be obstructed or catch at a certain point as well, that could be another issue.
You need lots of grease in there, but not too much, but it needs to be smooth across the full travel too. _\Hennessey|Venom| F5/___

Thanks Steve but i can't see that it is obstructed as it was a straight swap, old one out, new one in and yes, about the same amount of grease applied when all the gears were changed, it's just a twilight zone moment so i'm going to have to take the wipers off and put them back on so they do the full sweep Rolling Eyes Clayton.

The system is so simple I really don't know if this will make any difference, but when you say 'straight swap' did you have a look to see if the wiper cable drive gear (inside the top of the motor) has the same degree of movement marked on it?

I seem to remember when I changed mine that I changed over that gear wheel. I'm away from home just now so I can't check, but there was something like 120' or 115' (degrees) marked on one wheel. It's a while since I did this and it's absolutely possible that my memory isn't what it was but I think there were different degrees of movement (and therefore sweep) on different gears?

Maybe someone with a better memory could jump in and keep me right! Donald

Hi Donald

No i didn't see if the cable had the same amount of movement as i changed the gear wheel from the old motor to the new one as they don't come with any gearing, that is extra Rolling Eyes
On my gearing it has 140 degrees and the other one you were right with is 115 degrees Thumbs Up Clayton.
