Waze disappeared from dashboard view

I've had Waze on my dashboard view since the last update, which is great. However, today on a couple of trips, the dashboard has reverted to the LR navigation and I can't see a way to get Waze back. Anyone else had this and been able to resolve it?

It happens to me all the time.
Try selecting CarPlay for navigation option from the Pivipro Navigation tile menu or just select an actual destination in Waze.
