I've seen kerosene do damage in petrol engines with contaminated fuel. I don't know how hot the diesel engine will be running with kerosene in place of diesel?

I read somewhere that the TD5 would run on jet fuel, however never heard of a Puma on it. Heard the Yanks in Iraq had a few Discos TD5"s because of this ability.

That was the 300TDi in the Defender XD (aka Wolf) - don't think this feature made it to the TD5 |

Ive not run the Puma on kerosene, but I ran the last two diesel cars i had (an Audi and a Skoda) on it from time to time, and never had any problems at all. In fact I couldnt actually detect any difference at all when driving.

I used to run tdi on kero, with no problems at all. You need to add a bit of two stoke oil to it as it doesn't have the same lub qualities of diesel
