As of TD5 vehicles, LR stopped fitting handed springs to the front - mine had yellow/yellow on both sides whereas previous vehicles would have had different springs.

I am not sure if they started fitting handed springs to pumas again, but I very much doubt it.

Thanks guys.....good helpful stuff here! It's something that I noticed fairly early on in my ownership actually, just never got round to going back as my hatred for the place is so strong (!), but thought I'd better get it sorted sooner rather than later. Excuse my ignorance, but where are the colour markings on the springs? I'm at work tonight and don't have it with me.
So- White/White drivers side, yellow/yellow passenger? Why the 'double' colours?

Thanks again. Mark

OK, had a chance to look at my springs.....both sides at the front are yellow! That's confused me now, as I expected to find them fitted the wrong way round, not both the same colour! Can't see any colours on the rear ones. I assume thats normal?

Any ideas on what to suggest to my 'professional mechanic'........sorry, I mean main dealer operative? Mark

Exactly the problem I had, near side front spring fitted to the off side.

Tell the dealer to pull up the spring specs for your year double cab and it will clearly show them what is to be fitted.

Yeovil LR spotted the problem straight away with mine.
