Glad it’s solved.
However , just for clarity, that’s not an issue with the immobiliser, I.e the 10AS. It’s an issue with the immobilisation circuit between the 10AS and the engine ECU. On the 2.4 the single wire goes via the instrument cluster (IC) and within the IC the PCP solder connections can fail, breaking the circuit between the 10AS and engine ECU. As you rightly say this was addressed in the 2.2 Puma’s where the wire does not go via the IC.
