Lr assist updated the BCCM and informed if it happens again go to dealer. Happened again at 4am last night. Calling the dealer. Not hopeful.

My schedules all look to be correct. Only other thing I might do is set the charger on a timer plug instead of using the schedule. 24MY 110 p400e HSE in Tasman Blue

United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 300 Tdi Adventure Corris Grey
First post but interested to see the charging issues with the P400e.

I took delivery of mine in Oct 2022 and for a couple of years was happy to charge it during the day as and when required. Only when I got round to changing my tariff to benefit from a cheaper night time rate from Octopus AND access those times using the PiviPro schedule screen did I suddenly experience the nightime alarm disturbances. In my case the alarm sounds when the charge is c. 95% complete

It’s been in twice to my dealer who have changed / refreshed the BCCM and also changed the lock mechanism that secures the charger plug to the vehicle but the alarm issue continues.

Perversely charging on a PiviPro schedule set to a daytime period is alarm free. Very odd.

I wonder whether it’s a glitch in the Pivi Scheduling software as you can only access the schedule period by also committing to a pre-conditioning event ( which requires the vehicle to do other things like starting the air-conditioning in advance of your requested departure time. Potentially causing the vehicle to think the engine has been started whilst still plugged in ??

In my case I’ve abandoned further dialogue with JLR as I can’t be bothered with leaving the vehicle with them for days on end and instead I simply use the schedule function on my Hypervolt charger to access the nightime tariff. Peaceful nights prevail

I ended up changing my departure schedule ever so slightly in the app and so far no more issues. A few people I spoke to thought it was related to a voltage drop, otherwise I've no idea! 24MY 110 p400e HSE in Tasman Blue

Currently a known concern

JLR engineering have an ongoing project to try and resolve the concern

At present there is no fix for the concern
