I wonder if they regret spending all that money a few years back taking everyone to court for using the Land Rover name.

I bet Charles at Twisted is p***ed off he had to waste all that time and energy defending the use of LR

Yes, work colleagues have said that a few times, “I see you’ve bought a new Jeep” or “what’s the Jeep like to drive” I wouldn’t know Laughing 23.5MY 90 D250 X-Dynamic SE, Pangea Green

I think that it's great as now when we refer to the series 1, 2, 2a and 3, along with the 90, 110 and 127/130 as Land Rover's, no one should be confused.

This one definitely doesn’t, possibly an LR badge on the grill

what makes me laugh, is people say land rovers are unreliable or have problems etc.
Funny thing is, some people think its our land rovers / defenders, but they are actually meaning they have had some trouble with the disco or the range rover. This was off one of the lads on the 306 forum, years ago. I know if you get a bad car, you get a bad egg regardless of what it is Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

I've owned four 110's over the years and none of them identified as unreliable. Everything will have something broken eventually. Actually the Land Rover's have been the best.

The worst was a Jeep WK, that thing was plagued with electrical faults connected with the engine, which was made by Mercedes, so not really a fault of Jeep.

MarkBrown out of all the cars my dad has owned, in the last 20 years, i would say the Jeep was the worst one out of them all, for reliability. Dealer support at the time was poor, and getting someone to read it was just a no no. His was the liberty and had the early VM engine in, Nice motor to drive mind. But my dad spent a fortune on it and you just couldn't see where the money went with it. A dealer we went to at the time, as my dad was looking at the disco 3 i think it was. The dealer said that its known as a cheap Jeep. He offered my dad about 2k for it at the time, there wasn't much room for wages for him sadly. A year later my dad got the defender, and that dealer offered my dad 1700 with out even seeing it.
Jeeps build quality was great mind, but i found support was very poor at the time, My mate who worked for a dealer, he said that will explain why lot of these are broken up, due to poor support, which would explain why i always saw the grand jeeps in scrap yards, that looked in great nick. Poor support at the time. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

I took this photo 2 days ago, the FIRST time ever I'd taken one of the new Defender.
It was the setting, the monotone colours and the context of the vehicle in it's environment that looked 'right'.
Maybe I was starting to warm to the vehicle?
Yesterday it was announced that the vehicle shall, henceforth, not be identified as a Landrover.
This first picture will be the last.

Please don't dead name it.
Respect their choice.

Is it me or an illusion . . . .

Does the rear door meet / line up properly as the black line, bottom of the rear window and the silver box don't line up Whistle 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.
