England 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Zermatt Silver
They appear similar to the Hunter’s ones (which I am having fitted as I type) but the Hunter’s ones have an optional illuminated red border to match the other tail lights. I’ll post a pic end of week when I get it back. D300 HSE 110

The first post does mention they have a ring of red LEDs (which the OP did not connect).  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

If these are the Hunter's ones you're referring to:

https://huntersprestige.com/collections/ne...erse-light

Then yes, they appear to be the same aftermarket lights (even the packaging looks to be the same) just in the red surround variation. The ones I sourced on AliExpress were the black surround configuration (black colored plastic in the surround, but the surround does light up red if the wires are left in their stock configuration).

I've seen examples of folks who have the black or red and surrounds working and disabled, they all look good in their own way and work well, just depends on your personal tastes. --------------------------------
