Weather App
Hi,

Yet another problem and question!

Weather app constant error message "unable to connect". Have had this as an intermittent fault a couple of times previously and been sorted by LR dealer or software update.

Have done a full reset a number of times but to no avail.

The questions - is anyone else experiencing this please? The reason I am asking is the dealer is advising and I quote (not verbatim!) - the company which creates the app has gone bust, and everyone is experiencing the problem.

Now I have had some excuses but this one really does seem to be not quite right?

Thanks as always.

Thanks for the reply, well documented where please? I have searched this forum and read the post mentioning the app.

Are you saying the well documented issues are about the unable to connect or the company going bust please?

I only tend to use this forum for questions and issues, so if I need to head elsewhere for the info please point me in the right direction!

Thanks, I was hoping Facebook wasn't the answer! Unfortunately we can only access public FB pages, but I will see if any of those available are not private. I appreciate the reply though.

I will keep on searching and hope there will be more replies on here.

It has been reported that the company that provided the weather app and Land Rover have parted company and this is why the app no longer works. JLR are trying to find another supplier and when it's sorted there will be an update to incorporate it into the Pivi system. Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

Great many thanks for that. Seems I was too quick to be sceptical about what the dealer told me!

Here's hoping it get sorted soon.

Thanks again.

Many thanks for posting that, very much appreciated.

Seems I am very late to the party of this being experienced by others! Having had so many intermittent problems with the weather app since new, I just presumed it was the same thing again.

Pleased I asked here.

Yes Mse I agree.

An update from the dealer this morning - a new supplier has been found and hopeful the weather should reappear within a week. Time will tell.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Weather App
Has there been any updates ? My app still can't connect. It is actually the Pivi feature that I use the most.
Thanks

Apologies for the delay in replying - weather app still no longer available. I do agree how useful it is.

The "available in a week" from LR makes me remember a week can be a long time in LR world!
