United Kingdom 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey
My oil light goes out the second the engine starts as does the ABS light. Previous Puma and TD5 ABS light stayed on till you moved. John

This short vid shows engine starting and the length of time the oil light takes to go out.

Maybe I am worrying over nothing!!!

Seems to go out pretty quick to me. Anyway, you've now bedded the starter in nicely Wink Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

Chris sorry for throwing in the abs comment, thanks ericvv, this is good to know. Just watching your vid, I would say mine is the very same. seems fine to me. 08 Puma 90xs

If mine is similar to yours BILL, then panic over - I did the same test on my D3 TDV6 and the light goes out before I can let go of the key so you see why I was worried!!

Besides, I wanted to been the WARRENTY POWDER KEG dry for a really good warrenty claim!!!
