Headlamp Alignment Switch -Illumination
Having replaced all the dash bulbs and all controls are now illuminated, I have a question relating to the headlamp alignment switch. Is that illuminated and if so where is it’s bulb located? Is it an internally lit switch like the other switches eg hazards?
Grateful for some enlightenment if you will pardon the pun

Hi. Yes mine had a green led soldered onto the board. Very dim. I ordered led bulbs from ebay I think, and soldered a pair onto the board. Lights up a treat now.
Prior to that, I had issues with the switch not working. Stripped it and soldered all the joints again and has worked perfectly since. 2009 Defender 90 CSW 2.4 TDCI.

Thanks both for your replies. Guess it’s the dash out again and some switch disassembly and repair effort. Any clue on the LED bulb and where on eBay I can get one.

Of course, here you go https://www.rapidonline.com/barthelme-2110...en-57-6825

I chose the green LEDs to keep with the Defender lighting theme. FYI it is the same bulb in the headlamp levelling switch as well. Thumbs Up

From memory, there is a fiddly little spring inside the body? Use a hair drier to warm the outer case so it flexes to pop it apart! 2009 Defender 90 CSW 2.4 TDCI.
