TD5 Alternator Oil Return Pipe - SQC500010
Howdy folks. Weird one tonight. The oil return pipe on Miffy is wearing a fair amount and I suspect it need replacing.

The part number is SQC500010 (supersedes ERR6996) - Number 10 in the below image

It's no longer available anywhere... Shocked Anywhere...!

It is only a pipe, but does anyone happen to know its internal diameter so I can buy the right size pipe, please?????

Not sure, but I have just used a bit of fuel line, I think it was 8mm internall diameter. My pipe was OK, but the original pipe clamps were no more tight enough, so it was leaking oil. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile

10mm ID (3/8") and 17mm OD.

Just replaced mine using some oil delivery hose. Original hose clips still fitted fine, if a bit on the tight size.

I do have plenty of offcut but I dont have any at home to send I am afraid.

amazing thread
Thanks for having picked this up and shared the ebay link

also out of curiosity, that OEM clamp used. what tool is used to open these up? they are a major pain to get off ...

thought the Mikalor clamps are one kind but these were different all together Td5 110 Station

There is more in the Miffy thread, about halfway down the page - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic53859...;start=285

The tool you need to undo those spring clips is either - https://www.amazon.co.uk/ACHANFLY-Ring-Typ...KQ2U81CV7O

or

https://www.amazon.co.uk/FAVENGO-Pliers-Fl...amp;sr=8-6

It is the same tool used for the cam cover breather pipe clips as well so well worth having in your toolbox.
