Injector Fault
Hi,

I'm new here, and I hope I can help you and that you can also help me.

First, I am French and my english is not very good, but God created translator Laughing

Secondly, I have a problem with my TD5 and i don't know what it is, maybe you can help me to understand the problem and to fix it

So my defender is doing cylinder cuts.
I cut and restart my engine and here we go again until next time.
Fault code are:
- 3183 Injector 1 Long peak load recorded
- 3185 Injector 3 Long peak load recorded
- 3186 Injector 4 Long peak load recorded
- 3187 Injector 5 Long peak load recorded
- 3192 Injector 2 Short peak load recorded
I use the Lynx of Britpart for my diagnostic

I have no oil in my injector wiring harness, but i changed it
I cleaned my fuel line and it was very dirty
But I did not dismantle the injectors, nor the pressure regulator for cleaning.

I still have the problem and I don't know what else to do.

Have you ever had this kind of problem ?

Thanks in advance to the community.

Mathieu or Mathew

First things to check would be fuel pump relays and change the fuel filter rebleed and try to start. Could also be the fuel pump in the tank this may need changing or could be struggling to lift fuel and may need cleaning The fuel pressure regulator normally drops fuel down the back of the block and onto the gearbox on the inlet side hope that helps
