21MY 110 S Explorer D200 MHEV (UK)
Just spoke to my salesman with an order update so I thought I'd start a thread for my own vehicle

On 30th December I signed up to order a 110 S D200 MHEV
Tweaked it on the 5th Jan (confirmed today)

Spec is now as follows

Pangea Green
Black roof
Standard Sparkle 6010 19" Rims
Premium LED lights
Acorn interior
Explorer Pack (LR Rack, Raised Air Intake, Side Gear Carrier, Classic Mud Flaps, Bonnet Decal)
Side Roof Ladder

Delivery has now been quoted to me as 20th March 2021. I was told that the Factory Build Freeze date is 2nd February (in case I change again - the possibility of that is probably at 50:50 right now)

So basically the same as this

With these wheels

I'm sticking to all season tyres because I reason that later on I'll pick up a set of cheap 18's (steel or otherwise) and they'll get the off-road tyres (I'll have to manage this in and amongst discretionary spend to avoid ticking off the Domestic CFO any further... Rolling with laughter )

My countdown clock as of today says I'm on Day 12 of 80 - so 68 days to go! Thumbs Up Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

That is quick delivery - maybe dealer swapped one of his preordered cars to your spec?

Mine was ordered Mid November - Delivery End March.

Its ordered through Sytner (Guy Salmon) - I would imagine they get lots of slots allocated to them as a big chain, so that could indeed be the case - he did originally quote me 31st March Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Sounds like they’ve given you a slot they already had in the system so that’s good news 👍. My 90 was ordered on the 7th December (originally ordered in sept with another dealer but we won’t go there...) and I’ve got an early April delivery date. Exciting times ahead!!! Lovely spec you’ve chosen look forward to seeing some pictures once it arrives.

Got the amended Factory Build sheet come from salesmen today

- build date is 12th March Very Happy
- handover date has gone out to end of March though Sad

have just noticed Front Fogs are missing... Neutral email to salesman gone off...

Good job my countdown sheet which I'm crossing the days off goes all the way to March 31st Thumbs Up Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

The front fog lights are great at night on dark country roads and in multi-storey car parks as they double up as the cornering spot lights that used to come with the adaptive headlights on RRS’s and D3’s. I didn’t know I had them on mine until I saw the car on a video on a very wet day with the headlights on and thought one of the lamps had blown already...... Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Strewth Steve, fine choice, but I would say that! 15years later and we are buying the same car a month apart again😂 Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"

I would Reply:
"Duratrac"
