Jim,
I'm glad all is well and in hand and that you are both safe 👍 Mo The Land Rover 90 - Many are called, few are chosen. |

Oh dear, just read the news. I know I'd be having a very hard time remaining calm in such a claustrophobic situation. Well done. All the best with your and Henry's recovery.
Though of that as well. I dont want to ruin this thread with technical details, so I created a new one: pop-top compatible roll cages https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic84768.html |

Reading this and thinking how much worse things could have been. I am just wondering how they are faring financially with this. I know there is no doubt insurance cover but that could take awhile. Perhaps some cash is needed straight away. I'd be willing to help out if this was needed. I am sure others would too. Just enough to get sorted out until the insurance kicked in. Just an idea. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

What a kind thought! No insurance, so we will be paying for the repairs out of our own pockets. We took insurance out at each border but nothing covers the vehicle only 3rd party.
Outside Europe nothing covers the vehicle itself. Around the 25k mark for repairs & accommodation, such is life |
