Front tow ball
Well I’ve finally got around to fabricating an adjustable front tow bar for when I pull our 5m rib in and out at the boat yard , all adjustable, will test and then send of to be galvanised Thumbs Up

Looks good.
Would there be a lot of leverage on the fixing point with that length of extension?
Would a longer fixing plate be worth doing?

The winch bumper is 5mm and at the point of my fixing plate there in extra strengthening build in to the bumper as standard with large chassis plates , so I felt fixing the plate like I have with 16mm Bolts should be fine as my boat is on a very good trailer and I’m only moving the boat 20 yards ish so all good Thumbs Up

Why such a long extension? I can't think of a reason for it without knowing your particular circumstances.

It’s long so it keeps the front of the boat further away from the front of the defender so I’ve got room to get between the defender and the bow ( front ) of the boat so I’m not putting the defender in the water if you get me Laughing Thumbs Up

And there’s me thinking you had a camera on the end and was upskirting cabriolets on the motorway.

I think we will just leave that for the weirdos on the Underground in London…..

Very nice

Was on the Roseland a couple of weeks back.

Someone down there has an original Camel Trophy rib which was back in the sea ready for the summer.

Thumbs Up

This is our main boat but I won’t be pulling this one up and down with the front tow bar Thumbs Up

I can vouch for how effective an offset push bar can be, I've got a Watling Engineering one on my truck.

I won't be towing or pushing my present boat with it though!
