Roof rack - height above roof
So I've decided I 'need' a roof rack.

Problem is it has to fit under a 7' 6" barrier every week. Its a 90xs on std wheels, which will be changed to 17" and get a few mm drop but not a lot.

Now I did find a 90 in a car park with a LR roof rack on. But the only tape measure on me was that pos measure that you get on an iphone, and as I didn't really fancy climbing on someones P n J nor lurking until they returned I gave up.

So , can any kind soul just measure their rack (!) for me and see if its more than 10" above the roof.

thanks

Stu

That's great thank you, it's 190mm from gutter to top of roof . So it'll be 2150mm high in total, gives me some spare Thumbs Up

It might be worthwhile specifying what roof rack

Different roof racks will have different height legs, also some will have fixed luggage rail some racks you can remove luggage rail.

I took it that he mean't the LR one, as that's the one he mentioned Confused That's the one I've got anyway - as per the picture at the top of the page, although the 110 version. Darren

Fair point, Darren guessed right in that I'm after an LR one, tho Pom's Big Country one or a Patriot might be quieter. I'll take a look at the London to Brighton. Least I know they'll all fit under the barrier.

Thx all.
