"Elz" put me onto these. Looks like a good idea to stop all the crap going up the footwell/bulkhead. Could do with something more effective for the rears also Anyone fabricated something like this themselves?

I made some up out of conveyor belting for a previous vehicle [now defunct local company used to throw away decent length offcuts of the stuff] but of course it was neither bling and polish-able or complete with designer logo. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

I agree with BigMike, it's not really a problem however the defender is due some plastic rear wheel gussets (like the front ones). I spoke to Entreq about it and they were running a project to build some for 110s (they already do them for 90s) but then you get thinking, you still need to be able to get any cr@p out of the area so what do you do ?
I have modded my front arches by adding a plastic cover over the exposed outrigger if you have a defender and use it, you need to maintain it ... no one else will |
