United Kingdom 2004 Defender 90 Td5 SW Santorini Black
1983 110 V8 Limestone
I’ve finally pulled the trigger on a V8!

It’s a genuine factory V8, but has had a later 24G V8 fitted alongside a 5 speed box. I need to confirm if it’s an LT85 or LT77. I have a feeling it’s an LT85. Anyways, the 24G and 5 speed suit my needs more than a 14/15G and LT95.

It’s a low owners (now 4) and low mileage (just under 50k) vehicle, with great chassis and bodywork. I think it’ll make for a tasty project!

My first mods will be security. Then it’ll be on to a general service and check-over, before I start playing around here and there.

I’m not sure whether to keep the iFor or put a 3/4 canvas on . . . Ideas on a postcard!

I'd go for a full canvas and ditch the truck cab, though I realise that that is not everyone's cup of tea.

I hadn't noticed the tyres, they look like the legendary Goodyear Xtra-Grips, the world's noisiest tyre of all time!

They’re the Deestone version thereof. They make modern MTs sound like a summer road tyre! Charlie

Looks to be in great condition, a good find.

I'd go with a rag top or an ALUCAB style overland setup.
