With a 2-3in lift I'd go 255x85R16, so I believe limited to KM3'S or Toyos, both mud terrains. I've only experience on Toyo's on low mileage but they're surprisingly good on tarmac.

The Toyo is ok, not a bad laning/touring tread. But a bit useless in real mud. The KM3 is much better in that regard and almost as good on road.

255/85R16 is a nice size.

Sadly the best size tyre is almost non existent these days. A 9.00 x 16, was even standard LR fitment on the 109 One Ton.

Ahhh Okok.

Regarding the KM3. No doubt the best mud tyre IMO but my experience with the KM3 is they are just soooo loud. And with having to spend 1-2 the time on tarmac getting to trails at least for me an AT was more practical.

All I can say is. A 255/85 KM3 is less loud than a 235/85 factory fit MTR on a 65 plate 90 hard top. But the MTR’s are dreadful!!!

255 is a scare ressource. Here in Switzerland impossible to special order Cooper ST Maxx, no more available Toyo MT. Only BFG KM3... and the price is subject to change every day depending on demand/availability Rolling Eyes
