So, went with the Cooper’s STT Max 255/85 on the wolf wheels. Fuji White to match the roof. Epoxy painted, and powdercoated clear for extra durability. She came out pretty smart if you ask me! Thanks for all of the help.

Good lord they look soooooo much better than 285/75/16 tyres... Thumbs Up Those are precisely what a 110 should be shod with. Perfect height and shape for a Wolf rim too Smile

Looks great! Not many 110's have the 50th/NAS 90 type cage, but to me it suits really well.

Ahh the front wheel arches are still off..from fitting the front external safety devices cage hoop. Had to take the front wing skins off fully so the arches/wheel well liners were just about the first to go.

Once I get out of limp
Mode from my DPF faults (ggggrrrrrr) I’ll tidy it back up Smile

Thx mate. Really wanted the extra safety honestly. Inside I’ve got a 6 point internal cage so I am feeling a little less vulnerable from the mad drivers we have on our planet!

You must be one of a very few with this setup then! Most people have the Camel half external, half internal where the front loop is on an angle, or go full (NAS) external like myself. Again, looks great! m

I had limp mode issues, thought was going to be makor but turns out only needed a "parameters" reset. See thread here if it helps... https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic78640.html?highlight=dpf

The 255x85 size is just perfect for 110's IMO, unfortunately in UK we seem to be limited to Toyo MT or KM3 mud terrains, which is a real shame. I'd love the KO2's in that size. James

Yeah a BFG KO2 in 255/85/16 would be the holy grail of tyres. There is however an alternative... Rolling Eyes

And I do not mean the 285/75/16...

I mean the 33/10.5/15 BFG KO2, it is 1/2" wider than the 255, same height, more side wall. It works out to be halfway between the 285 and 255.

Perhaps the alternative, but you'd have to buy a set of 15" wheels to fit them to. Challenger do a decent wheel in 15"

Yes sir, 255 were a special order but I am very happy with how they fit and look!

Hi big110, waow! Yes it looks great. If you can share how did you manage this special order? Via your Cooper representative?

thank you- once the wheel arches are back on Ill post another pic so you can see but I really do think they look and sit perfectly and are so well paired with the roof matched Wolf wheels. So far I absolutely love the ride and they are not noisy though Im not sure how they will be once we are in warmer days when having the windows down. but overall very happy. My local tire shop had a cooper sign and I never in a million years would have looked at cooper but they do really get great reviews for a hybrid at/mt tyre. So I just went in and asked about the size and he said "no worries just need to order them, give me a week to have them" and that was it! I also opted for sticky weights on the inside of the wheels just because the lead hammer on weights I thought may stick out. BUT if they fall off I will go with the hammer on's or maybe that balancing additive they make.

A 33.10.50R15 is slightly shorter than a 255/85R16 and slightly fatter. Good size though.
