United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Bronze Green
OBD Security
I found this while surfing the net.

https://www.dummyobd.com/shop/relocation-land-rover/

I ordered on and it arrived promptly. It is well made and indeed the ODB port is exactly the same as on my 2015 Defender.

Fitting it is a total faff of course because you're curled up in the footwell poking about behind the dash. You could take the whole dash out but I went with keyhole surgery. Taking out the top row of relays and sockets on the fuse board improves access. There's a bit of tape that needs to be snipped to free up the OBD loom.

Where you put the live ODB port is up to you depending on how often you need access.

Interesting, thanks.

I'm also happy with this OBD lock:

That's two layers then.

I've also ordered this loom. Good quality. Had some trouble plugging devices to the new OBD socket though. Needed too much force to get them on and off again. This was because the loom extends all the pins to the new socket, not just the few that are actually needed. More pins require more force.

So I removed all but the required pins and it's now easy to use.
