I want some led flashing lights and was wondering if any body has used these ones before?

"Want" or "need"?
Not entirely legal to fit strobes (even amber ones) to any old truck.

It depends how, when and why you employ them, and if Plod see you doing it or not, AND if they then take offence, which is a lot of "ifs".
The Road Traffic Act Lighting Regs bit gives a list of approved vehicles and, in a nutshell, ambers are only meant to be fitted to farm vehicles, oversize loads, vehicles used in highways maintenance and approved recovery/road-side assistance vehicles.
Urban myth tells of Sir Jimmy Saville's fight to have a beacon fitted to an Isetta bubble car as he was fed up of being cut up in London. The upshot was he set up his own break-down company (on paper) and registered the Isetta to it, just to get approval to have the light fitted.

The VigiLED ones aren't too bad. they're bright, but can be susceptible to water ingress. They end of getting condensation on the inside of the lens.

These are pretty good-

Plus, they're only about 9mm thick.. Most of these LED modules are about 25mm thick.

No law in the land stopping you having them fitted.

Use is another thing, for example:

(vii) a vehicle used for the purpose of inspecting, cleansing, maintaining, adjusting, renewing or installing any apparatus which is in, on, under or over a road, or for any purpose incidental to any such use;

I've got some enormous American sealed beam rotating beacons - why not fit one or two of those too? Wink Steve.

The members of the 4x4 response teams are asked to fit amber flasher/beacons .. but I've never had to use them in a 'real' situation ... Whistle

If you only use work lights 'off-highway' then I don't see how it can be illegal. S'up to you innit? Guess the same is true of amber beacons. I think plod might take a dim view if you used it to skip down the outside of traffic when you were late for your tea.... not that that's what they do of course Twisted Evil

I think you would need blue beacons to skip anywhere in a hurry and even then many people don't notice as they are so oblivious of what's going on around them. Steve.

A work light can only be used on the public highway or a place to which the RTA applies (including of course green lanes) if it is used in conjunction with an amber beacon or strobes. It is completely illegal under any circumstances to use a worklight, or any white light with an equivalent wattage greater that 21W, as a reversing light.

That being said, the chances of being 'done' for it are fairly small.
