TERRAFIRMA RTC STEERING DAMPER　TF835
My Defender has a MANTEC steering guard. Terrafirma Defender RTC Steering Damper.Can I install TF835? Has anyone installed it?

I fitted one but replaced it with a standard heavy duty one after a few years.

Worked at first but after muck gets into the collar that holds the spring it starts to move and is difficult to keep tight.

A bilstein one will be just as good.

Thank you for information. The TF835 has a thicker coil than the genuine one, so I'm worried about hitting the MANTEC steering guard.
