2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS DCPU Barolo Black

D44 SPECTRE BUMPER & GENUINE A BAR

Hello.

My D44 Spectre bumper has just arrived and I've collected a Genuine Defender Soft A bar this afternoon.

Does anyone know if I'm supposed to be cutting the part that's not letting it sit back and flush to the bumper? See photo.

2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS DCPU Indus Silver

I had to trip the inside edges of my A bar when I fitted it to a spectre bumper.

If you look at the back of the A bar, mine had “mould” marks where the cuts needed to be. Almost pre-formed areas that needed to be removed.

I think the A-bar you have is for a std straight bumper - VPLPP0060, you need a different one for a winch or d44 spectre bumper - VPLPP0061 https://www.devon4x4.com/vplpp0061-protection-bar-408014.html

If its a genuine A bar you will see the tooling marks to cut to for a winch bumper as Roy pointed out Andy

Hello,
There is somewhere a tutorial to transform a VPLPP0060 in a VPLPP0061? I want to buy a winch and I have the soft A bar not ready for it.
Have anybody mount the winchmax with the winch bumper in a SVX front grille?
