I've a pair of climair ones I bought from eBay about 9 years ago never actually fitted them, decided I like the standard look (Tamar blue hard top)
From what I can remember they've some plastic edges broken that would sit hidden in between window/door Could dig them out and take some pics if anyone's interested be happy with £10 or so to cover postage cost could be free to collect |

I fitted tinted Climair deflectors to both my defenders recently. They fit flush to the door frame. I didn't like the stick on or out types. I had a stick on type blow away on the M4 years ago on a works car, it had probably been bashed but the climair I couldn't see falling off without being deliberately pulled.
Fitting is easy but they do need to flex more than you'd think possible. I didn't crack them which was the fear. They are great for low sun, almost like having an extra tint on sun glasses. I drive with the window open a lot of the time and noise reduction is noticeable. In rain they keep the side windows clearer. The other advantage is I can leave the window open a bit if the dog is sat in and unless you were up close you'd not know. They do obscure my visibility a little, more noticeable at night and in urban areas. Vision is affected mainly around the a piller, worst case you just need to move more to see around them. The other negative is if you need to stick your head out the window for any reason they get in the way but for me the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. |
